This is Techdalo

Techdalo is a social start-up committed to providing training opportunities in web development to low-income students in Colombia. In cooperation with the Bogotá Institute of Technology, our mission is to bridge the education gap and empower individuals with the skills needed for a successful career in the IT. Headquartered in Munich, Germany, we operate under the umbrella of Enactus München e.V., a renowned student organization dedicated to driving positive social impact through entrepreneurial action. At Techdalo, we firmly believe in equal access to education as a powerful catalyst for social mobility, paving the way for a brighter future for our students and the communities they belong to.

Bootcamp

In cooperation with the Bogota Institute of Technology, we offer a 400-hour fullstack web development bootcamp. This 4-month intensive bootcamp covers a wide range of topics, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, Angular, and more.

Module 1: Fundamentals of Web Development

In the first module, our will learn the basics of web development. They will learn how to create a website from scratch using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. They will also learn how to use popular web development tools like Git and GitHub. By the end of this module, students will have a solid foundation in web development and will be ready to move on to more advanced topics. In detail this module will cover:

  • Building Building a first website page using HTML and CSS without any further libraries
  • Uploading projects to GitHub and working with Git
  • Introduction to JavaScript and logical thinking
  • Using UI frameworks like Bootstrap
  • Introduction to APIs and how to use them
